Hempcrete Blocks (Floor)
Pre-cast hempcrete blocks can be purchased to be used as an insulation layer in a suspended or solid floor. Installing hempcrete blocks is less time consuming than casting hempcrete on-site, and requires less specialist contractor skills.
Hempcrete blocks are a medium-density material, meaning they provide both insulation and thermal mass. The blocks can be cut easily with a regular hand saw, or appropriate power tool, to shape and fit around into irregular shapes in the structural frame, or existing walls.
